Mountaintop moments are what we're often striving for. Oh, it's an exhilarating feeling as we breathe in a sense of accomplishment and exhale calm. The air of self-satisfaction fills our lungs after we work them a little. This helps you literally feel the life within you. That being said, I believe in you, and I have a challenge for you. Here it is: 21 minutes of daily exercise in 2021. Easy you may say. Sustainable and achievable is what I say. Let's stop it already with the lofty goals that often paralyze us and leave us feeling disappointed. Instead, commit to trying. Give yourself permission to start moving the "lifestyle change dial" in the right direction. We're after steady progress.


New research by Asics – overseen by Stubbs – supports the fact that at least 20-minutes of exercise is enough to improve our mental state. Researchers saw measurable improvements in brain activity after just 20 minutes of exercise. Stop and really take in these stats:


-29% improvement in people’s ability to deal with stress

-An increase in relaxation levels of up to 18%

-A 26% improvement in brain processing speed

-A 21% jump in memory

-People studied were 28% less prone to making rash decisions.

-The real kicker- a 135% drop in negative emotions like frustration.
